Melanin is a natural pigment that gives color to the skin. Exposure to sunlight, hormonal influences and aging can increase the production of melanin and trigger hyperpigmentation. Hyperpigmentation appears in the form of dark spots and old age spots (also called sun spots) which give the skin an inhomogenic appearance.
Eucerin anti-pigment correction of spots is an unasic gel with an applicator that facilitates the precise application to the small hyperpigmentation areas. It contains thiamidol, an effective and patented ingredient that acts at the base of hyperpigmentation by reducing melanin production. Applied directly to brown spots, it has been proven by clinical and dermatological studies which it reduced and prevented their reappearance. The first results are visible after two weeks and continuously improve with regular use. The skin appears more uniform.
